Today we learned about the harvest. We ate bread and discussed why we have harvest. On Tapestry, parents can see the video of our harvest song that we learnt and recorded last week.

In maths this week, we have continued looking at 2D shapes, where we have added pentagon and hexagon to the shapes that we can identify. Some of us have even learnt what a trapezium looks like, and ask us what the other name for a diamond shape is! In English, we have been looking at breaking down speech into words by counting and clapping the words we are saying in each sentence. Our phonics are also coming along well, and this week we have learned our very first digraph (2 letters making the same phoneme) which is ‘ck’.
